Four different sectors of the German middle class with one mission: to guarantee the current supply of protective masks. SONOTRONIC Nagel GmbH has equipped a complete production line with ultrasonic systems for this purpose. In further cooperation with the Fraunhofer IPT from Aachen and the mechanical engineering company IBF Automation from Freudenberg, Moss GmbH commissioned the production line. The aim: to produce up to 600,000 high-quality masks per day, assembled with ultrasonic, and all of them 100% Made in Germany.

In cooperation with Zettl Automotive GmbH, SONOTRONIC Nagel GmbH has developed a production line for the production of mouth and nose protection masks based on ultrasonic. Thanks to the innovative joining technology, protective masks are produced at several manual workstations using the ECO iSONIC ultrasonic welding machines in minute cycles.

SONOTRONIC had a lot to offer at this year's K: No less than three new products were looking forward to being presented to the international trade public at the leading trade fair in Düsseldorf. Numerous visitors came to our redesigned stand from 16 to 23 October 2019 and informed themselves about our ultrasonic solutions for plastics processing.

This year's FachPack in Nuremberg (Germany) from 24 to 26 September 2019 showed that the keyword sustainability is becoming increasingly important in the packaging industry, also with regard to the new packaging law. The aim is not only to save material or use recyclable films, but the packaging processes must also be optimized.

"Running and cycling for a good cause": This was the motto of the Health Day held at the Weckenmann fitness studio in Waldbronn on September 22 for the benefit of children and young people with illnesses. As part of the public event, visitors were able to collect kilometers on treadmills, steppers and bicycles, which were rewarded by the sponsors with 50 cents per kilometer.

Our entire portfolio compiled into 2:30 minutes of moving images: This is the SONOTRONIC image film. Around 36 hours of raw material were shot. A lot of work, but it was worth it – the result is impressive.

It was stormy in every respect when Team-SONOTRONIC competed in the handball Whitsun tournament of SV 1899 Langensteinbach last Friday.

Under the motto "Alcohol? Less is better!", SONOTRONIC participated in the nationwide campaign week on the subject of alcohol with various activities. In the prevention campaign, volunteers and companies, among others, provided information about alcohol and its dangers and thus want to encourage people to reconsider their own alcohol consumption, to deal with the topic sensitively and to recognize signs among family and friends or colleagues at an early stage.

Eight girls proved this at the nationwide Girls' Day. SONOTRONIC participated for the fifth time and gave the interested girls the opportunity to get a taste of technical professions. Especially under the aspect of the increasing shortage of skilled workers, the girls had the perfect opportunity to get to know professions that are otherwise dominated by men.
